Opening Friday, Feb. 15th at Quad Cinema on 13th St., "Saving Lincoln" tells the story of Ward Hill Lamon, Abraham Lincoln's body guard, and his friendship with the 16th president of these United States. In cooperation with Operation Gratitude, moviegoers are encouraged to write letters to deployed troops and wounded warriors that will accompany one of hundred of thousands of care packages sent to the U.S. Armed forces by the non-profit.

On Saturday, the well-styled graffiti and apparel shop, Low Brow Artique, opened a show of rapper Broke MC's art, featuring stencils and collage work as tribute to deceased cultural icons, i.e. Kurt Vonnegut, Jim Henson and Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita).
