Children's author Jon Scieszka rounded out the judging corps, and readers included Trip City author and illustrator Dean Haspiel, God of Animals author Aryn Kyle, National Book Critics Circle Award winner Darin Strauss and Fordham Professor Kim Dana Kupperman.
